Grenada National Resort Construction Update – June 2025

Grenada National Resort (GNR), developed by Heng Sheng Group (HSG), is the largest Citizenship by Investment (CBI)-approved project in Grenada, setting a new benchmark for luxury tourism and residential investment in the Caribbean. Spanning more than 400 acres in the northern Levera part of Grenada, GNR will feature world-class amenities, including 500 ocean-view suites, an 18-hole golf course, a casino, an amusement park, helipads, and a yacht marina.

 

Hotel Tower Construction

Steady progress was made on the first hotel tower. The steel bar binding, framework installation, and concrete pouring for the equipment area are now complete. This work prepares the way for continued building upwards. Crucially, the 4th, 5th and 6th floors’ structural elements are now fully installed, representing significant advancement toward achieving the hotel’s unique design and functionality.



Design Development

Design work continued, focusing on improvements to the hotel tower and the hotel grounds. Plans for Phase II Tower #2 were refined, and adjustments were made to the hotel's main floor layout. Landscape designs for the hotel area are also being updated.

 

Golf Course 

Work on the golf course continued, concentrating on fine-tuning the irrigation system and preparing for future construction. The crew has begun installing the perimeter fence along the 10#, 11# and 12# fairways, enhancing security and preparing for landscaping. Construction and grading are progressing on the 10#, 11# and 6# fairways. The concrete structure for the golf clubhouse is now complete.

 

Other Highlights

Key achievements this month included:

  • Designs were finalized for the pump house, biochemical tank, and sewage treatment plant.

  • Planning for the hotel’s interior construction started, including selecting teams and sourcing materials.

 

Logistics and Materials Supply

June saw increased activity in delivering and receiving construction supplies. The 12th shipment of materials and equipment – including excavators, cranes, dump trucks, fencing, drainage pipes, steel bars, and fasteners – was delivered and unloaded. The 14th batch, which included engineering machinery parts, sand-washing equipment accessories, wires, and cables, completed inspection and was shipped by sea.
